Prison Outreach Program

Retired

The United States has the largest population of incarcerated in the world. Consider not only the isolation of the imprisoned, but the poverty, loneliness and shame of the families of loved ones living in prison? Beginning in 2008 we began making Christmas cards for the men at Sing Sing Prison to send home to their families. The project has grown to include annual Mother’s Day Cards, Christmas Cards, and prayer cards each year, along with correspondence, visits and retreats on “God’s Mercy” inside the prisons.

Our outreach expanded to include support for supporting shelter dogs going into the prisons, along with local involvement in providing prayer cards for parishes with prison outreach projects.
